During fall 2016 a group of new school students worked with adjunct faculty member Stephen Metts to develop an interactive web map for locating community opposition to fracking infrastructure taking hold across the northeast region of the United States. This map provides critical information to community-driven opposition battles to fracking, by pairing information on fracked gas infrastructure proposals with local “intervenors.”

My role in the project was to design a customized base map on Mapbox, allowing for the visualized data to be center stage while providing reduced spatial back-ground information.
