Using graphic and information design, this project highlights the contentious issue of access to open space in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The information graphic combines visualizations of open data, spatial analysis, and the case study method across various scales of the city, the neighborhood, and the block level. Showing the relationship of income and access to open space, the graphic reframes the issue of access to open space as one of environmental justice.
