In may 2017, I presented my thesis project as part of the "Viewpoints: Migration, Displacement and Mobility" exhibition at the New School’s Social Justice Hub. Visitors were invited to add to and modify printed maps with personal experiences and underrepresented knowledges through low-key interaction tools. Instead of passively using the maps, participants became co-creators and started to take ownership. The maps became a platform to collectively produce, transfer and share critical spatial knowledges against displacement within urban renewal policies.
